Activate an unlocked phone with the Verizon Prepaid Plans

Can you activate an unlocked phone with the Verizon Prepaid Plans? I recently bought an unlocked phone on Ebay. I was planning to switch it to my T-Mobile Prepaid Plan, but that costs me /month.

I was wondering if Verizon can activate an unlocked phone because it would be cheaper for me to go with Verizon. Does anyone know if this is possible?

You can unlock verizon, from the service center only because it is CDMA phone, and you cannot switch to T-Mobile. For the T-Mobile unlocking service means get the code from online and get the instructions from http://www.mobileunlockguide.com/

First of all, is the unlocked phone compatible with the GSM or CDMA network? AT&T & T-Mobile operate on the GSM network and utilize SIM cards, Verizon and Sprint operate on the CDMA network which doesn’t utilize SIM cards. If the phone you bought requires a SIM card than sorry, you can’t use it with Verizon so you’re going to have to stick with either T-Mobile or AT&T assuming you want to stick with this phone with some sort of data plan.
